Are you a passionate Workshop Technician, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Workshop Technician to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Oakham working as part of their Multi-Skilled Engineering team.

Our client based in Oakham are a leading repair and diagnostic engineering firm for rotating equipment, generators, motors, pumps and more. They are currently looking for a Workshop Technician to join their busy team on a Monday – Friday basis.

Principle Responsibilities for the Workshop Technician :-

· Repair and diagnostics of rotating electrical equipment.

· De-assembly and re-assembly of machinery.

· Using steam clean methods on parts and machinery.

· Preparation of machinery for collection and for delivery/dispatch.

· Performing Electrical Static checks.

Person specification:-

· Must have 3+ years of experience working with generators/engines within a repair and service role

· Experience inspecting generators and alternators electrically and mechanical.

· The candidate will have worked with high voltage.

· Using test equipment such as multi meters/mega ohm meters etc.

· Full UK Driver’s licence.

· Ability to work on own initiative and highly self motivated.

This is a full time permanent Workshop Technician position, 08:00 – 16:30, offering an annual salary of up to £32,000 plus annual company benefits to include a 22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products and free car parking.
