Job Description

Due to continued growth we are delighted to announce that we are seeking to recruit a Workshop Operative to support our State of the art workshop on a day to day basis with general workshop duties including workshop cleanliness and weekly vehicle, fuel and oil checks.

Other Key Responsibilities of this role will include;
  • Assisting LGV Mechanical Engineers with non skilled labour
  • Assisting the Workshop Stores Person as required
  • LIaising with the administrators within the Transport Department for the provision of Transport related duties.
  • Collecting and dropping vehicles to DPD Contractors.
  • Assisting the Valeter if required.

Qualifications

What we are looking for;
  • Experience within a similar role would be advantageous
  • A Class 1 Driving Licence would be advantageous.

  • A “can do” attitude to work and duties.

Additional Information

Job Specifics

Due to some of the tasks involved in this role a Full UK Licence is essential, also holding a Class 1 Licence would be ideal.

In this role you will typically work Monday to Friday during the day. However due to our workshops operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week some flexibility will be required at busy times.
