We have an exciting opportunity for a Work Planner to join us. You will work with the team to provide a high quality planning and administrative service for maintenance repairs and safety inspections..

Main responsibilities include:
Planning, scheduling and organising job / repair works in order to facilitate contract targets and conditions, including scheduling appointments and minimising downtime of operational staff;

Dealing with internal and external enquiries to the fullest conclusion, relaying answers and information to customers and modifying work arrangements dynamically to both surpass customer expectations and meet business objectives;

Assisting the Wythenshawe Works management team in assessing workload through forecasting and performance measurement for the teams to determine future priorities and operational requirements in order to meet defined objectives;

Monitoring the completion and accuracy of jobs recorded on PDA’s or tickets/ timesheets to ensure the availability of financial and performance information;

Preparing statistical and performance information for the team through standard reports and software applications such as Excel;

Working as part of a team to manage all the resources provided for repair and maintenance in order to ensure an effective and efficient service, and to plan, and schedule works so that they are carried out: within agreed cost limits; within agreed time scales; to specified standards; and surpassing customer expectations

The ideal candidate will have some experience of undertaking administrative and repairs planning experience, but training will be provided. The ability to deliver a customer focused service and willingness to undertake additional training when required. Prior experience of working in a building or construction environment is desirable but not essential.
