Job content

A wonderful opportunity for those who wish to make a difference to someone’s life, supporting older people in the community.

This opportunity offers £11.55 per hour covering the Talbot Green area.

All we ask is you must have a big smile that will make your client’s face light up when they welcome you at the door.

A good pair of eyes and ears are essential to listen to a lifetime’s worth of stories, and to help someone find their things if they’ve been misplaced!

We don’t wear uniforms (it’s friendlier that way), but you must be prepared to roll up your sleeves to cook in the kitchen, bring in some flowers from the garden, or hit the supermarket.

Timekeeping is crucial, you should arrive on time, take your time to listen and understand and take time to care - we measure time in hours, and each one matters.

You’ll need to bring patience and a sense of humour as each day is varied.

A kind and caring nature supporting clients to maintain their dignity and wellbeing through personal care, washing, getting dressed, taking medication and more.

A driver with access to a vehicle to provide care and companionship visits.

At Home Instead, we are a social bunch who love getting together for regular training (and parties) and we’ll always be there, on hand, to support you no matter what.

Hours are scheduled between 8am and 10pm, Saturday and Sunday.

If you tick some of these boxes, then a job at Home Instead might tick yours.
