Job Description

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Production Operative/ Warehouse Operatives in a well established IT company in East Kilbride who are looking for individuals to join their IT refurbishing processing team.

You must have an interest and/or Technical experience with repairing or IT skills.

They deal with ’anything that plugs in’ Laptops, Computers, mobile etc.

They determine if the item can be reconfigured/scrapped. Hard drives need to be destroyed/erased and then it will be reconfigured for sale or go to scrap.

  • Process and test a varied range of IT products for dispatch.
  • Checking and receipting of goods delivered and returns in line with procedures.
  • Maintain housekeeping to a high standard.
  • Engage in all team activities.
  • Rotate through job roles to ensure a wide range of skills and give the team holiday and sick leave cover.

Essential Skills And Competencies

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Good spoken communication skills
  • Good housekeeping and well organised.
  • Physically Fit
  • To enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced, busy environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of working in a busy Manufacturing or Warehouse environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience with an ERP system will be a distinct advantage.
  • Manual handling and lifting will be required however full training will be given

Training is provided with Inductions, this is target driven so you must be self-efficient and competent to work on your own with minimal supervision.

You won’t be just working with 1 item at a time, you may be configurating up to 14 laptops.

Shifts - Monday to Friday 07:45 - 16:30 Friday

Rate of pay £11.44

The ideal candidate will leave nearby or have their own transport as site is not easy to get to. The site has a car park facility, lockers and a kitchen with fridge and microwave.
