The Company & Appointment

Based in Ilkeston we specialise in the distribution of raw materials of food & nutraceutical ingredients to a UK and International customer base.

A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and expanding health and beauty business to support the warehouse and distribution of incoming and outgoing materials, at our new warehouse facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including incoming goods, warehouse management and outgoing products to facilitate the manufacture and supply of quality food supplement products.

Applicants should have good attention to detail, be reliable and able to understand written and verbal English language and have a current counterbalance and Flexi fork lift truck license. Working hours are 8-4pm days or otherwise as agreed with Management.

The Post & Salary

Starting salary from £23,800 p/a dependant on experience, plus annual bonus.

25 day holiday allowance plus bank holidays.

Location is DE7 8DU

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Primary function to receive and store stock, prick/pack and re-distribute stock with associated paperwork and instructions.
  • Responsible for offloading/controlling/storing incoming materials/
  • Responsible for picking/packing customer orders for shipping.
  • This includes dealing with small courier parcels up to and including full shipping containers.
  • Liaising with internal staff, customers and logistics companies to ensure all paperwork and booking procedures are adhered to and maintained.
  • Responsible for stock management and stock location/rotation control, ensuring all working areas are organised and maintained to a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness
  • Compliance with procedures relating to applicable company accreditations.
  • Taking care of arranging routine servicing, where applicable, for warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Other duties as required and agreed to meet business demands.
