A world leading manufacturer of a niche product with a very strong reputation in their market place – holding products with #1 market positions are looking for an experienced warehouse supervisor with experience in manufacturing environment.

The business has a state of the art manufacturing facility in the area, as well as others in the UK and across the globe and despite the global pressures at the moment caused by covid have actually strengthened their market position winning new business and making exciting acquisitions.

As a member of the Materials Team the Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the Warehouse, Spares, Goods In & Despatch department and the staff in these departments. The Warehouse Supervisor will be expected to supervise and train to ensure high levels of picking, receiving and shipping whilst also ensuring employee wealthfare and that Health and Safety procedures are followed.

The Warehouse Supervisor will proactively a group of warehouse, spares, receiving and despatching operatives to consistently deliver on time and accurate picking, packing and shipping for all areas of the business.

Overview of responsibilities

· Man Management of warehouse

· Organise Goods inwards, despatch and spares ordering documentation

· Inventory and location accuracy must be above 98% (Achieved through perpetual inventory (PI))

· Coordinate Inbound and Distribution of Equipment and Parts

· Maintain and develop a safe working environment including 5S

· Manage Returns into business

· Participate and Lead Kaizen Projects

Working Hours

Mon – Thurs: 8 – 5

Fri: 8 – 1

Person Requirement

· Experienced warehouse supervisor

· FLT Licence

· Computer Literate – Microsoft Office and ERP Systems

· Willingness to take part in training e.g. Lean management
