Our team in Widnes currently has an opening for a Warehouse Operator

Main functions and purpose of the job:

  • To Operate the Food safe receiving, storage, handling, repacking, blending and dispatch of products.
  • To Operate Fork-Lift trucks in accordance with basic and site-specific training, whilst ensuring that the operational activities are completed in a safe and orderly manner at all times.
  • To contribute to the safe operational efficiency and effectiveness of Widnes Blending Solutions Business by:
  • Operating in the Food Blend Plant Carry out a rip and tipping operation converting dry food ingredients into a water-based solution
  • Carry out Fork-Lift Truck duties as required (warehouse and logistics)
  • Widnes is a BRC Food safety site, knowledge/Experience would be helpful in the role.

Your skills & experience:

  • Forklift truck licenses for Counterbalance, Pivot Steer and Reach are essential
  • Minimum Level 2 Award in Food Safety Awareness for Manufacturing.
