Our team in Scunthorpe currently has an opening for a Customs & Excise Co-ordinatorYOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESThe completion and distribution of customs related documents that are essential for the import of goods post-Brexit.Input of data into customs/excise systems that will enable the successful import of goods.Liaising with and providing the necessary information to customs agents, hauliers and suppliers as required for effective and efficient import of goods.Become familiar with the goods-out process and complete and submit EMCS movements where we are delivering controlled goods.Become familiar with the goods-in process and receipt and close EMCS movements where controlled goods arrive at the depot.Complete and Submit HMRC required Warehousing Declarations for Ethanol & Hydrocarbon.Monitoring and reporting of EMCS undischarged movements.Completing additional Know-Your-Customer forms when customers request delivery of controlled goods.Maintaining a register of customer licenses and site approvals and updating restrictions in the ERP system.Providing advice to the sales team about the process and checks that need to take place when selling controlled goods to customers.Auditing and monitoring movements of controlled goods and collating paperwork.Maintaining master data on products in the ERP system such as excise classifications and restrictions that need to be enforced.Helping complete excise warehouse return submissions to HMRC.YOUR PROFILEGCSE in Maths and English.A-level desired.Customs Course Completion desirable.INTERESTED?We look forward to receiving your application.
