Here’s a thought for you!! Buying a biscuit is easy, the process of making a biscuit is however much more involved and that’s where YOU COULD BE INVOLVED! The route from creation to eating involves multiple stages and that’s why we are able to offer a variety of jobs to meet people’s desires, skill sets and abilities;

  • SHIFT PATTERN – Rotational weekly working; 6am to 2pm (week 1) 2pm to 10pm (week 2)
  • RATE - £11.12/Hr


ROLE – Warehouse Operative

The Burton’s Biscuits Warehouse environment is split into 3 distinct sections.

  • Raw Materials/Ingredients
  • Paper source (storage)
  • Dispatch area


Within a food manufacturing environment accountability and traceability is key due to audits. The ideal candidate will have the following experience, knowledge.


  • Working within a warehouse environment.
  • Be aware of the importance of hygiene, health & safety, manual handling techniques.
  • Use of Pump and Pedestrian Pallet Trucks
  • Building Pallets
  • Inventories, checklists


SKILLS REQUIRED

Comfortable working around Machinery, following process, updating paperwork, attention to details, numerate, literate, problem solving
