A brief outline of the role
  • IT literate and able to use the MRP system booking in deliveries and transferring stock
  • Picking and packing orders accurately
  • Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles either manually, or using equipment (fork lift truck etc.) as required.
  • Control and checking of goods received
  • Storage and identification of all goods in line with good working practices and company procedures
  • Assisting with stock checks as required
  • Preparation of goods for dispatch
  • Quality control checks on components, to support goods-inwards inspection
  • Liaise with supervisor on supplier returns and quality issues
  • General good housekeeping - keeping the warehouse in a clean and tidy state
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations to ensure safe working environment
  • Undertake other ad hoc duties as requested

About You
  • Previous warehouse experience is essential
  • Must have a forklift licence
  • Organised, punctual and reliable with excellent timekeeping
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good all round communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
  • Ability to listen to and follow instructions
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
