Job DescriptionNightshift Warehouse Operatives Permanent Full TimeInitially Baillieston moving to Eurocentral from summer 2023Due to an increase in work on our Howdens Joinery contract, Wincanton are recruiting for a number of Warehouse Operatives
  • Monday – Friday 10pm to 6am Night Shifts
  • £13.75 per hour
  • Permanent Contract
  • 40 hours per week with paid breaks
  • Overtime paid at time & half basic rate after 40 hours worked
  • 25% unsocial hours premium
How will you contribute?
  • Warehouse duties including picking stock accurately and efficiently using handheld device to scan
  • Items to be loaded onto pallets
  • Checking of picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch
  • Ensuring quality is of the highest standards and all stock is handled with care, so it arrives at our customers in perfect condition
  • Ensuring areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Working in a team environment in a safe manner adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work
  • A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site
What will you bring?
  • Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
  • FLT Counterbalance and reach experience is advantageous
  • Attention to detail to accurately enable the correct picking of stock
  • Have appropriate hand, eye and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment safely
  • You will be reliable, self-motivated, a strong team player and will have a flexible approach to work
