Your dream role:
  • We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our established Aftermarket team in Skelmersdale.
  • Working patterns for this role will be discussed at interview.
  • This is a fully functional warehouse operative role, covering all warehouse duties including goods in, RMA’s, warranty returns, service exchange, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • You will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and despatching orders to meet our internal and external customer requirements and wider business needs.
  • Operate specialised equipment such as fork-lift trucks, Scissor Lifts, High-level order pick, Kardex and Randex.
  • Ensure that the right parts are picked and packed to the agreed performance levels.
  • Responsible for taking the delivery of goods and supplies, including checking for damaged or missing items.
  • Safe storage of goods using manual or MHE procedures.
  • Keep paperwork up-to-date and maintain accurate records of stock, highlighting any discrepancies that may have occurred.
  • Participate in maintaining an agreed housekeeping standard, including the cleaning of work areas.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety legislation.
  • Continually strive to spot opportunities for process improvement to ensure the highest level of efficiency.

What you will bring:
  • Experience of working as a Warehouse Operative in a fast-moving environment.
  • An awareness of Health & Safety Legislation and individual/company requirements.
  • Strive for continuous improvement – always looking for ways to do things better.
  • A positive attitude and a can-do approach to problem solving.
  • Things can be hectic here. You will thrive on being busy and be an expert multi-tasker.
  • A person who is approachable with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
  • NVQ or equivalent in Warehouse or Logistic Operations would be desirable.
  • Full UK Drivers Licence, FLT, high level order pick and Scissor Lift Licences are desirable for this position.
