Position: Warehouse Manager
Salary: Starting from £36,000 - £39,000
Shift Pattern/Start Time: Monday to Friday
Location: Rutherglen, Glasgow
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) 37.5 hours

What does this job involve?

The operation will provide a 24/7 critical fulfilment service to a national infrastructure company supporting them in achieving their decarbonisation agenda in Scotland.

• Take responsibility for managing and running a safe operation and driving a Safety First Culture with all individuals in the operation by applying and improving the Safety Standards.
• Ensuring that the operation meets customer expectations and targets.
• Management and control of WMS integrity (Experience of Red Prairie or Blue Yonder desirable).
• Management of the customer relationship.
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements across the operation.

We are looking for people who:

• Proven experience in logistics management and supply chain management.
• Operational and management experience in warehouse operations.

• Experience in implementation and warehouse start-ups.

• Excellent customer relationship management skills.

• Strong planning skills.
• Reliable and flexible with can-do attitude.
• Knowledge of working in the national infrastructure environment (desirable).
