About Us

When it comes to retail, we are leaders in the sector. We have over 700 stores all over the UK and our home stores are a firm fixture on UK high streets. We are visited by over 30 million customers each year, who come to us to buy their beds, sofas, chairs and electrical goods through our omni-channel offering. With donations from the public, we’re investing in ground-breaking research that will get us closer than ever to a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases.

About the role

Our Stockroom Assistants work collaboratively with the store team and volunteers to ensure the efficient running of the store and the warehouse. It is a fun, fast-paced environment where everyone works as a team. You will be responsible for handling and moving the deliveries of furniture and appliances that are coming into the store from the vans. You will ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards. It’s hard work, with lots of heavy lifting, but no two days are the same, and you’ll find it really rewarding helping to beat heart break forever.

You will work with the Stockroom Manager to ensure the shop floor is always well stocked, working in accordance with all safety regulations, promoting safety and wellbeing. You will be given lots of autonomy and will strive to continually build your knowledge of the BHF.

Why join the BHF?

By joining our dedicated teams, you will be part of helping to create the next big breakthrough, from heart transplants and pacemakers, to stents and clot busting drugs. We will beat the heartbreak these conditions cause.

We invest heavily in the development of our teams because they’re the people behind our success in the sector. We value, nurture and reward our talent and a career with us will allow your entrepreneurial spirit to flourish. We also offer competitive salaries, sector leading benefits package and a culture that promotes a healthy work life balance with opportunities to progress in a welcoming and supportive working environment.
