Following training, we are looking for volunteers to act as a point of contact to assist the victims of serious traffic collisions. As an aftermath volunteer, you would be involved in providing practical & emotional support to bereaved families & people dealing with the trauma of serious road injury. You would be there as a listening ear and to offer practical help such as signposting to specialist organisations (ie: counselling, debt management, solicitors, probate etc.) as well as offering information about coping strategies & what to expect. We also provide information about other professional or voluntary support networks.

Good listening skills, the ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds and cultures. Empathy, understanding & a non-judgemental attitude.

Hours flexible to suit volunteer and client
