FHL connects Christians in the UK to the most needy Christians in the Holy Land, raising awareness of their challenges, encouraging prayer, providing practical support and promoting pilgrimage. FHL is non-political.What will you be doing?FHL is looking to recruit trustees who support Christian values and whose experiences can contribute positively to the mission and objectives of the Charity and to ensure an appropriate balance within the Board. Specifically, candidates with legal, fundraising or marketing/communication skills will be favoured but those with other skills and experiences will be warmly welcomed.. This is a voluntary position. FHL targets Christians of all denominations across the UK to help Christians of the 14 denominations in the Holy Land.What are we looking for?Legal, fundraising or marketing/communication skills would be valuable as would experience of being a Trustee, especially in the Charitable sector.What difference will you make?FHL Trustees determine the Strategic direction of the Charity, through a rolling 5 year Strategic Plan, with the support of a Management Committee and a small paid team in the UK and also in our office in Bethlehem, where support is received from an experienced volunteer committee.Before you applyApplications with a cover letter and CV should be made initially through Reach by 19 September 2022.
