Careers Springboard is a registered charity. We are a self-help group, made up entirely of volunteers who offer guidance and support to those seeking employment.What will you be doing?We are looking for a Programme Support to work within a team of volunteers. The team will comprise of
  • Programme Lead,
  • Programme Networker
  • Programme Support
The team of three would work together with a number of volunteers to prepare our Monday evening programme of presentations.Your role would focus on agreeing and printing and administering a weekly programme of presentation topics three times a year.We have had great success with our Monday evening one hour presentations and receive strong and positive feedback. Topics include - LinkedIn, CV preparation, networking, interview techniques, to name a few. We run our Monday presentations during three terms - January to April, May to July, September to December with circa. 13 meetings/presentations per term.The busy times for the Programme team will be the weeks prior to the end of one term when presenters and dates are secured for the following term. During these 5-6 weeks the team can expect to spend incremental time building up a programme of presentations for the following term. Managing and sharing the workload amongst the members of the programme team is key to successfully finalising a programme of presentations in advance of the following term.Attending our Monday evening Zoom meetings would be advantageous to assess how presenters are performing and to better understand our members. Our membership (job seekers) continually changes depending on employment status.What are we looking for?

One of the cornerstones of our offering is our Monday evening meeting which gives our members (job seekers) access to networking, skills and support for their job search.
