Passionate about health in your community?

We are on the lookout for volunteers to become Health Champions! Health Champions help motivate people in the Warwickshire community to:

  • Get involved in healthy social activities and groups
  • Make real positive changes to their health and wellbeing
  • Access existing support and services in the area

You do not need to be a trained professional or have experience in healthcare to be a Health Champion.

We will provide you with mental health awareness and safeguarding training, and there will also be an opportunity to complete the Royal Society for Public Health Level 2 qualification that we pay for.

Volunteer requirements

  • An active and engaged member of the local community in Warwickshire
  • Willing to complete onboarding process and opportunity to achieve Royal Society for Public Health, Level 2 qualification paid-for
  • Have good people and communication skills, patience, and the ability to be empathetic – Interest in health and wellbeing
  • Willing to complete a paid-for DBS check
  • Willing to provide 2 references and a photo ID as part of our onboarding process
  • Willing to commit to volunteering
  • Support local people to understand the risk of Covid-19 and the vaccine role out
  • Passionate about making every contact count and growing local networks
