What difference will you make?

CRIBS has a great team of fundraisers and volunteers who do a range of activities. We have runners, long distance cyclists, jam makers, speakers, online auctioneers, quizzers and also bid writers. Our support base is in the USA, Canada, France, Austria and of course, in the UK and Ireland as well.

We need an experienced fundraiser to move the organisation to a more secure footing allowing us to plan on a longer term basis. You will be the central pin of the fundraisers, pulling together our dedicated supporters and unifying the work. Planning, developing strategic overview, skilled and confident input will allow us to become a more focussed and intentioned organisation. With your input, we can continue to provide decent housing and support for women in an environment which is difficult and dangerous. We need a CRM database to enable us to manage and expand our donor base, a strategy for the current year and beyond and above all an organised and passionate person to manage it all.

What’s in it for the volunteer?

The CRIBS teams in the UK and Athens are dedicated to the women we work for. We believe deeply in the rights of women and children and work hard to give opportunities for change. Working with us will challenge you, make you laugh and know that what you are doing is making a huge difference to the lives of refugees. The sense of satisfaction we all experience when we know that another woman has safely birthed her child or has a bed and a front door cannot be imagined. We are a forward thinking organisation who are not afraid to challenge our own views around race, gender and privilege. Your work will make a big change. Come and join us!
