At the core of our founding vision is the passion to create a world where every child can transform their community and make a global difference through Kindness. Racial diversity is a key factor in our approach to promoting kindness in children and young adults. In order to demonstrate the importance of racial diversity in our interactions with each other, we must teach children to acknowledge and celebrate differences while learning to accept them too. We seek to foster collaboration and build a globally focused digital kindness framework for children. We also seek to partner with schools both in the UK & Africa, with organizations like the Department of Education to grow our reach, etcThe Corporate Partnership Manager will work with the CEO and Board of Trustees and be responsible for maintaining existing partnerships and developing new organizations to work with. You will take a leading role in liaising with partners to develop the connections and the opportunities they present, helping us to develop as an organization towards reaching our future goals. The role will appeal to candidates who like an intellectual and creative challenge, who identify with causes addressing children’s mental crises, racial diversity in early education, and as well as promoting kindness in schools. It will require someone who wants to play an active role in major societal and global change.We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic Corporate Partnerships Manager who is full of ideas and contacts to help us ensure commercial and strategic relationships with our key targeted partners.   • Enjoys research and can demonstrable the ability to communicate at a high level, both verbally and in writing.
  • Has experience in corporate or external partnership

  • Creative ability to think outside the box creating organizational strategies and compelling stories that can demonstrate our impact on partners.
  • Passionate about our cause for children, education, and Africa.
Responsibilities
  • Take the lead for strategic partnerships & sponsorships.
  • Create and deliver a creative strategy to promote Afrikindness and raise awareness of its objectives.
  • Maintain database with existing and new partnerships, especially those working in the field of children’s services, and education, and promote kindness and diversity in schools.
  • Researching corporates and organizations and providing ideas for developing and increasing partners and connections with organizations who may share our social mission and have a similar purpose
  • Be part of a collaborative team, and effectively position us as a partner of choice for brands that align with our core values.
  • Expand the outreach by promoting Afrikindness activities through its partnerships.
  • Be able to identify mutually beneficial partnerships and where we can add value back
  • Maintain regular communication through email with partners, sharing and hearing about their work and impact, and showcasing such on our social media, blog, and newsletter articles to raise awareness of our partnership work.

What difference will you make?You will be joining our charity during an exciting point in our development and a period of real growth; your expert knowledge, skill, and experience will be critical to our success. You will have a key role in ensuring we can maintain the work that we do. You will be a part of our small, extremely friendly, passionate, and forward-thinking charity team.We facilitate children-led projects across the UK and in Africa, provide African-based content and educational resources that promote kindness and advocate for kindness in schools. Our parent and teacher cohorts are essential to achieving our aim as they play a key role and make decisions during the formative years of a child. You will work alongside other passionate team members and professionals.Afrikindness would benefit from your help to raise the partnership’s key objective to the next level, developing and broadening the base of partners, connections, and expertise from organizations involved in a similar purpose. Your role will be significant. You will be making a huge impact in the lives of children and young adults and creating a global movement for fostering positive racial diversity and promoting kindness in children.After securing funding to expand the projects we support, you will be part of the compelling and unique campaign. Your input will shape how we engage with corporate partners, helping us create a strategy that will see us work towards extending our reach and impact and continue raising the awareness to adopt a culture of kindness in our schools, societies, and the world at large, and promoting children’s wellbeing.If you have the desire, passion, and skills to make a difference, please come on board.Before you applyIf you don’t possess 100% of the skills requested but feel you are a strong candidate nevertheless, please do apply as you will be part of a team with a broad skill-set.
