As a Visual Effects Artist, you will effectively collaborate with a wide range of disciplines such as Product Design, Engineers, Producers, Product Managers, and Creative Leads to ideate, improve art pipelines, and build assets to define the Future of Work in the Metaverse.


Responsibilities:

  • Define and evolve VFX direction, vision and high production standard in the creation of products within the team in direct collaboration with creative, technical and production leaders.
  • Prototype and iterate on ideas and the creation process.
  • Collaborate with environment artists, concept artists, designers, and engineers.
  • Collaborate with creative leads to develop and maintain artistic styles and content.
  • Optimize effects to run efficiently at high frame rates while sustaining high visual fidelity.
  • Develop vertex shaders and mesh based effects for optimal use and visual impact in VR.
  • Contribute to development of proprietary VFX tools.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 shipped AAA products in game development as a VFX Artist.
  • Experience shipping products with stringent runtime performance constraints, such as complex mobile or 3D applications or games.
  • Experience working with Unity, Unreal, or other engines.
  • Experience in 3D content creation in a software package (Maya, Modo, 3ds Max, Houdini).
  • Knowledge in node based shader/material creation.
  • Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Confident in communicating across team members including engineers and artists.



Preferred Qualifications:
