Meta seeks a dynamic team player for its Law Enforcement Outreach Team in EMEA. This role will be responsible for managing the team’s tactical response to inquiries and escalations from law enforcement. This role will also support the regional and global teams in developing and streamlining processes, preparing for law enforcement training sessions, and assisting in maintaining strategic relationships with law enforcement authorities and government agencies relating to the Meta family of apps (including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Oculus).


Law Enforcement Outreach Associate, EMEA Responsibilities:

  • Respond to law enforcement inquiries directed to the Outreach team, and ensure timely completion of a variety of operational tasks as part of our law enforcement program. This role will involve daily communication with both internal partners and external law enforcement contacts as needed.
  • Develop new and streamlined processes and programs to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Organize, plan and assist with the delivery of strategic training to law enforcement audiences either on location or via virtual channels.
  • Support local, strategic, and operational initiatives and legal projects in coordination with Regional Managers.
  • Prepare briefing materials and trends analysis on issues affecting law enforcement in the region.
  • Support processes that facilitate internal communications and knowledge management across the team.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Experience addressing trust and safety challenges involving online platforms, from an industry, law enforcement, or other relevant perspective
  • Willingness and commitment to work on multiple and sometimes urgent daily tasks to support other members of the team with their portfolios
  • Experience assessing, analyzing, and resolving issues across multiple topics while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to maintain and effectively organize spreadsheets and contact lists, and update team resources
  • Fluent English communication skills and professional diplomacy in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in additional EMEA language(s)
  • Technical knowledge and experience related to cybercrime, online investigations, internet safety and/or working with law enforcement and government officials
  • Experience working in an international context or as part of a global team
