Our award-winning Penguin Creative team are hiring, and we’re interested to hear from you if you’re an experienced Video Producer with an interest in creating video content that inspires impact and accessibility.


Through our Penguin Books UK YouTube channel, we offer to the world captivating and engaging content to bring together intimate conversations and ask the big questions that unite our authors and audiences everywhere.


In this newly created role, you’ll report to the Senior Video Producer and join our video team of three, collaborating across our Publishing Houses and imprints to create compelling content on both YouTube and TikTok to appeal to our YA audience.


You’ll naturally be passionate about books and video, experienced in taking an idea through to distribution across appropriate channels, and be actively involved in all elements of the creative process.


In this role you’ll be responsible for post-production video projects including grading, sound and encoding in various formats. You’ll regularly work on a mix of author led and self-initiated videos to ensure video content is consistently produced to a high standard across our Penguin channels.


You’ll regularly work with the broader Penguin Creative team to create concepts and formats that are compelling for the wide variety of authors we publish, with a keen focus on our Young Adult books.


You’ll naturally be well versed in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and comfortable working with a variety of studio lighting as you’ll regularly work within our studio environment. We often work to tight deadlines, so accuracy and efficiency are crucial skills to own in this role.

You’ll be creative, innovative and curious about current and emerging digital trends to further the success of our content across social media.
