Route 1 is looking for a Vehicle Technician for a full-time permanent role, this position is due to the increased volume of business levels and business growth in general. Working Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday 7:30 - 4:30 and Fridays 7:30 - 1:30 there is ad-hoc overtime available, salary of £23,500 - £25k per annum. The role in brief, (but not limited) Fitting of Electrical equipment, including winches, reversing sensors, belts, lighting. Refitting of converted vehicle interior and exterior including trim panels, carpet, head lining, lighting and bumper Fitting of options as per customer specifications including seats, ramp, storage Modification and fit trim-related sub-assemblies Modification and fitment of fuel tank, exhaust, fuel, and brake pipe systems To be successful for this position applicants will require a valid Driving Licence, the ability analyse potential faults, have the ability to implement process and method improvements, competent in using a variety of hand power tools, and working independently as and when required.
