Duties:Assisting in the administration of plant and transport functions in a busy workshop. This will include face-to-face, telephone and written communication with all levels within the organisation and with external parties such as suppliers, hire companies, statutory bodies, etc. Responsibilities include;
  • Booking of plant/equipment in and out of the workshop.
  • Raising Purchase Orders for the hire of plant/equipment
  • Inputting of invoices.
  • Running excel costs reports for the contract.
  • Weekly stocktakes/plant checks
  • Arranging services though the lease companies.
  • Liaising with Contract/Site Managers.
Skills;
  • Candidates must be computer literate and, ideally, have a technical background.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Methodical and thorough approach to work
  • Organised
  • A desire to show initiative
