Please note due to the confidential nature of the systems required for access in this role you will be required to work at least three days a week in the office in Andover as access to these systems externally is prohibited as well as hold current UK SC clearance.

It will be your job to work closely with internal and external teams to support the UKGSS Principal Architect in monitoring strategic technologies in external markets to minimize risk to VM’s UKGSS operations as well as assisting the operations Engineering team with 3rd line technical support and strategic capacity planning.

A key area of this role will be liaising with UK Government customers to keep on top of external projects we are running for them and Ensure IP ACT 2017 Annex-C notices are submitted, tracked and that any official government responses are managed back into the VM business as required.

The must haves

  • Must hold current and valid UK security clearance
  • Must be able to attend our office in Andover on a regular basis
  • Previous experience with scripting and load balances
  • Experience with storage area networking
  • VM Ware skills
