Overview

Taylor Strategy Partners has been retained to search for a UK Country Manager for a growing and dynamic specialty pharmaceutical company. Our client has brought together a team of talented individuals to build an organisation that specialises in developing a range of niche healthcare products. This opportunity is responsible for driving all sales and marketing efforts within the UK for the company’s existing portfolio as well as launching new products into the market. You will drive all UK sales and marketing efforts leading to profitable growth through leading the key account management, marketing and market access functions, as well as leading hospital tender processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the business of the UK organisation with responsibility for the (virtual) P&L of the country
  • Liaise with country specific organisations including Diabetes Associations on all product & other company matters
  • Manage the local employees (Key Account Managers, Marketer and Market Access Manager)
  • Manage key outsourced an insourced business-critical functions
  • Drive all sales & marketing efforts in the country including launching new products and driving growth of the existing portfolio including hospital tender products
  • Ensure excellence and efficient cross functional Medical, PV & Commercial activities

Job Requirements

  • Proven success in various commercial functions of a pharmaceutical company
  • Profound knowledge of key processes of a pharmaceutical, local operating company
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter
  • Experience in running and/or starting-up the business of a local pharmaceutical operating company
  • Good understanding of the local Market Access & hospital tender environment
