The core of this role will involve the creation of accurate and engaging copy for Syneos Health’s communications business, forming part of our integrated European commercial division. The Senior Medical Copywriter will be responsible for taking complex scientific concepts and translating them into easy to understand, captivating copy.

Syneos Health, London is looking for a Senior Medical Writer to work within the creative department. This is an opportunity to define the scientific story of many leading Rx brands in an award-winning agency group.

Expectation/ability:

š Write accurate and engaging scientific copy in support of our clients’ projects

š Produce continuously high level work to brief, on-time š

Work closely with creative and strategic leadership to deliver compelling and scientifically robust stories

š Openly discuss ideas and progress with colleagues, including art directors & designers

š Present work to both internal account teams and clients

š Quickly acclimatise to new and diverse therapy areas, sometimes at short notice

š Understand brands and product types across a broad range of therapeutic areas

š Communicate issues to relevant colleagues in a timely and accurate fashion

š Support other members of the team across creative and other departments

Job Requirements

Essential knowledge, skills, experience

• Undergraduate degree or higher within life sciences
• Extensive medical writing experience and working in fast-paced agency settings
• Confident in presenting work to clients, clearly and effectively
• Understand the different components of pharma brand building and actively collaborate across medical and creative output
• Know your role/responsibility within wider team and able to respond to team decisions
