UCD Education, Training and Development Lead
  • Permanent Contract, 2 positions available
  • Full-time Hours - 0.5 Education duties and 0.5 in a clinical role
  • 1 Based from any main site in the South and 1 from any main site in the North
  • Salary Equivalent to Band 8a

The newly formed Totally Urgent Care Division, following the integration of Vocare and Greenbrook is a leading provider of national urgent care services.

We are looking to appoint a strong visible educators who will take responsibility as part of the urgent Care Division’s Workforce Development Team for providing professional education, training and learning opportunities within the Division’s urgent care services and in conjunction with Higher Education Institutions. We work at the interface of primary and emergency care, providing clinical interventions to ensure that patients are treated in the right place for their needs, and deflecting unwarranted activity away from busy A&E Departments.

The Urgent Care Division successfully deliver 111, Clinical Assessment Services (CAS), GP Out of Hours (GPOOH), and Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC) across a national footprint. This critical appointment comes at; a high-profile time for NHS 111 and urgent care delivery and an exciting time for us, as Greenbrook Healthcare and Vocare are joining together to form the Urgent Care Division of Totally.

These new roles will be pivotal in delivering and influencing our aspirations as an organisation and realising the ambitions of local health and care systems across the country through great delivery. We pride ourselves on great patient outcomes and we want the post holder to work in tandem with clinical leaders and an engaged and thriving workforce to take us to the next level of operational excellence.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Head of Clinical Workforce Development and with quality and governance and regional clinical managers to provide teaching, assessment and mentoring opportunities that will contribute to the continuous quality improvement of patient care and clinical outcomes. If you have experience and knowledge of clinical education, clinical governance frameworks and awareness of the legislation and standards of relevant healthcare regulators (e.g. CQC, NMC, HCPC) then it would be great to hear from you.

We are looking for candidates who are registered health professionals, educated to degree level or equivalent and have previous experience and evidence of teaching, mentoring or practice education.
