Our client a leading regeneration charity are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their Step Forward Tees Valley team as a Tutor.

Job title: Tutor (Step Forward Tees Valley)
Salary: Circa £21,100 - £24,233 per annum
Hours: Full Time - 37 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term until 31/03/2022 - with possibility of being extended
Reporting to: Project Manager
Staff Location: Redcar or Middlesbrough
Delivery Location: Hartlepool and Stockton

They are a leading regeneration charity, working through partnership to create communities in which people are proud to live and work.

Step Forward Tees Valley is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and European Social Fund. Working in partnership with approximately 30, mainly, voluntary and community sector delivery partners, Step Forward Tees Valley will support 2500 people into or toward employment.

About The Role

The successful candidate will run a programme of Health & Wellbeing and Digital activities to promote the employability of long term unemployed participants with multiple barriers, with the aim of moving these individuals towards and into further sustainable employment.

The Post holder will provide a valuable resource for the charity to enable it to achieve its objectives. Working in a busy team environment ensuring business deadlines are met whilst maintaining quality.

This role will work solely on the Step Forward Tees Valley programme.

Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced disclosure endorsed by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

About You

They are seeking someone with experience in successful Jobsearch/employability session delivery. You must have the ability to work to and meet industry and internal service level standards. Having experience of working directly with un employed and economically inactive voluntary client is essential whilst maintaining a professional, tactful and patient approach.
