1st Staff Limited are one of the leading alternative providers working nationwide with specialist staff helping students from 4-25 years of age with both education and therapeutic needs. The Role 1st Staff are looking for a tutor to work on a 1:1 basis with a young adult with autism and severe learning difficulties. This will be 1:1 in the student’s residential care home on a daily basis. You be be tasked with developing communication and emotional literacy skills. This student is non verbal so experience working in this area would be vital. Position Details-Location - In the student’s home
  • Position 1:1 Tutor
  • Hours- Part Time - 16 hours per week (During school hours, more hours available)
  • Start date- ASAP
  • Subjects- Life Skills, Communication & Interactions Skills, Literacy & Numercy at early years curriculum Experience Required:
  • Delivery of core subjects at early years.
  • Able to plan and deliver lessons
  • Excellent behaviour management
  • Working with SEN ideally PECS & Makaton Benefits will include
  • Excellent pay rates (£20-£25 per hour) dependent on experience
  • Flexible working hours
  • Part-time or full-time work available
