Start Date: March 2023
Could you deliver high quality support for lighting and sound for drama and music performances in our schools? Could you deliver high quality technical support for drama and music examinations and other school performances?
If this sounds like you, the Laurus Trust are currently searching for a Trust Performing Arts Technician to join our expanding team to support our schools
This position is contracted on a Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to students and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 37 out of 52 weeks.

Job Purpose(For further details on the role, please see the Job Description attached via TES)
- Provide set design and stage construction support for shows, workshops, exams, performances and promotional events across the Trust.
- Provide lighting, AV and technical support for events, assemblies and performances across the Trust, including rigging, operating, design, maintenance and repair.
- Provide technical support and guidance for open and promotional events in schools.
Key Skills & Experience
- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
- Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous
- Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role
