Travel Assistance Driver
Scale 4 £22,995 - £24,580 - pro rota
20 Hrs Per Week
Term Time Only - 39 weeks per year

As a Driver you will be responsible for the safe journey of your passengers across the Borough. Working as a team, the Driver and Escort ensure that travel takes place safely, with dignity, efficiently and on time

To do these roles you will need to be able to show that you
  • Have experience of working with either children, the elderly or the disabled
  • Can deal with situations calmly and safely, when they arise
  • Can work as part of a team in an organised and professional manner
  • Understand the needs of vulnerable people and how best to deal with them.
  • Can communicate clearly in writing

PTS is now looking for PCV or D/D1-qualified Drivers on a term-time basis to help provide this vital community service, which makes a difference to the lives of young children and their families.

Please note working times are between 07:00am and 10:00am and 14:00pm and 17:00pm in the afternoon - weekdays only
