We have been successfully awarded a new contract with the large blue-chip online retailer, ASOS, and will be opening a new purpose built fulfilment centre in Lichfield. The site will be over 400,000 sq. ft. and we are looking for night shift Transport First Line Managers to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.


You will be contracted to an any 5 from 7 shift pattern, predominately working Tuesday - Saturday, 23:30 – 08:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £23,100 per annum, plus a 20% night shift allowance. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Be responsible for the management of the yard and the transport office
  • Manage the allocation of work on a daily basis, controlling headcounts and budgets
  • Monitor team absence and performance, taking action where necessary
  • Monitor progress against Key Performance Indicators and costs against budget

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, complex transport environment
  • Previous managerial experience
  • A focused and flexible approach to work
