We’re currently recruiting for a Full-time Transport Coordinator to join our team in Magor(NP26 3WN). You’ll be partnered with one of our impressive clients, ensuring that all things logistics are coordinated on-site!

You will be working 40 hours per week with any 5 from 7 shift pattern and start times including 06:00 - 14:00 OR 14:00 - 22:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Assisting in the compilation of weekly transport data
• Supporting the dedicated transport operation for the GXO Wilko network on the open book contract
• Assisting in the management and recording of driver hours
• Ensure that all drivers are pre-briefed and debriefed in conjunction with the relevant processes and that all paperwork is accurately completed and signed
• Allocation execution of the plan on Paragon and debrief KPI and business critical data captured
• Ensure all tachographs are downloaded in full at the beginning and end of each driver’s shift in accordance with legal compliance

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Competent user of the Microsoft Package
• An analytical approach, with a keen eye for detail
• The ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
