OverviewJob DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Transport Administrator to join our team on the Argos contract at Heywood.Current working hours would be Monday-Friday 10:00-18:00, this would be a fixed position with the potential to cover other patterns and upskilling in due course.How will you contribute?- Assistance in fleet administration, e.g. checking when vehicles are available for MOT’s, services, tax etc.
- Monitoring tachographs in accordance with legal requirements.
- Assist in the daily transport operation, mainly liaising with the team and customers updating on any problems/delays.
- Assist in the daily maintenance and preparation of KPI’s.
- Carry out general administration duties including filing, photocopying.
- Compliance with site accident reporting procedures.
- Adherence to all Company, statutory and Health and Safety obligations.
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for effective operation of the Transport Department.

- Previous experience of working in an administrative capacity but not essential
- Previous transport knowledge will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication & organizational skills.
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office.
