We’re looking for a talented Transport Administrator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis working out of the Batley site, working Monday – Friday 08:00 till 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
· Provide administrative support to the Transport team within agreed time scales including working to deadlines and ensuring that all telephone calls are answered and directed accordingly.
· Complete administrative tasks as required, accurately and within agreed timescales (i.e. processing Reconciliation Day 1 for Day 2, also Data input)
· Support and adhere to company processes, procedures and requirements (e.g. Audit requirements, Health & Safety, HR processes etc.) in order to minimize financial, reputational and operational risks/costs
· Provide professional, friendly and efficient service to all customers by actioning enquiries and ensuring that appropriate customer service standards are maintained
· Monitor, organize and control day to day Administration within the Team including stock control and ordering of PPE.
· Administration of tachograph data including compliance
· Any other Adhoc Administration Duties
What you need to succeed:
· Evidence of Administrative experience in a transport environment.
· Experience of Working Accurately with numbers, consignment notes and other paperwork where close attention to detail is paramount
· Basic health and safety knowledge / experience
· Evidence of experience in understanding, investigating, solving customer service issues and escalating where appropriate
· Experience of managing conflicting priorities in a fast-moving environment
· Experience in utilising Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel)
