We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who will control aspects of the Finance function ensuring accurate and timely reporting to internal DHL Stakeholders. You will provide accurate information and administrative support to the Operations team and wider DHL for your selected customer(s)

The Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:

• Ensure the invoice audit & payment process works according to contract and customer expectation and that issues arising in the context of this services are dealt with fast & professionally
• Monitor and manage the invoice audit dispute & issue resolution process between the customer/control tower and the Logistics Service Providers; Ensure timely responses from all parties involved and manage escalations
• Set up invoice audit reporting in line with customer requirements; Monitor KPIs related to the invoice audit activity and provide analysis and improvement suggestions
• Work with carrier manager in the on-boarding and education of carriers into the FBA processes including change of process within Control Pay
• Continuous improvement through root cause analysis on rejections /deviations so that improvements can be made following the Control Pay change request protocols and evaluate cost impact
• to the business
• End to end invoice audit processes fully documented with SOPs, WI’s and supporting documentation

To be successful as a Finance Manager in DHL Supply Chain you need the following:

• Proven track record in a similar level role with experience of the above requirements
• Ability to influence key decision makers at all level and drive continuous improvement
• Excellent knowledge of transactional accounting processes and terminology
• People management experience and excellent communication skills
• Either relevant financial qualifications (AAT / CIMA etc.), training towards them or be qualified by experience
