Position: Training/Transport First Line Manager
Location: Daventry
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Days - Monday to Friday. 8am - 4pm
Closing Date: 19th October 2021

We make promises to our customers, and we’ll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

Responsible for the execution of training plans ensuring training is delivered.

Support and promote the team in delivering a safety 1st Class H&S culture for the training operation

Ensuring all candidates are appropriately trained and familarised with both training and equipment

Ownership and accountability for Candidate induction, training and qualification are up to date for candidates reports

Responsible for instructor and fleet legal compliance during shift

H&S compliance, ensuring and promoting the best H&S Standards using Safe, sound check lists, safety conversations and Gemba problem solving
processes

Logistic Industry and Transport experience at a managerial level

Understanding of Transport compliance and DHL processes

Able to work well under pressure and make sound decisions

Good communicationand numerical skills
