Flavour Warehouse is a leading international e-liquid company manufacturing world renowned brands such as Vampire Vape. It also manufactures OEM/white label goods and is one of the largest distributors of e-liquids and hardware in the UK. The company operates in several sales channels including wholesale, online, Amazon and retail stores.

The business has seen significant growth in recent years both through organic growth of its products, and through investment such as the acquisitions of Premier Retail Ltd, Vapouriz Ltd and most recently Trulo gmbh. Alongside this the company continues to invest in its people and infrastructure, recently having installed robotics into the Darwen site. Moving forward the company has ambitious, yet achievable plans to grow all of which makes it an exciting time to join the team.

The role

This is a newly established high profile role and will be part of the senior team. The requirement for the role has been generated from the aforementioned growth the business has seen over the past few years and the need to train, develop and implement strong operational practices and processes across all aspects of Operations within a manufacturing & warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities include,

  • Reviewing and improving operating processes and procedures and managing compliance with these at operational level to achieve standards (eg OTIF – on time in full), reduce errors and maximise efficiency,
  • Work with business managers and key stakeholders to ensure that standard operating procedures are optimised and reviewed on a regular, periodic basis.
  • Developing & maintaining training and procedure documentation, including refreshing training materials in line with best practice and ERP system changes.
  • Deliver operational/compliance Training to all employees including agency workers, including on the job and classroom based delivery.
  • Work closely with departmental managers to ensure that process training priorities are met to agreed timelines.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify control and procedure failure along with implementing corrective action.
  • Oversight of Business Incidents ensuring that corrective measures have been actioned.
  • Provide reports and analysis that will support performance appraisal, system changes and process improvements.

The Candidate

The right candidate will,

  • Be experienced in implementing training in a similar setting.
  • Have a proven track record of identifying and reducing operational errors, along with creating efficiency through standardised processes, training and accountability.
  • Ideally have experience working in a manufacturing or distribution business.
  • The ability to write training materials & procedure documentation
  • Experience with operational compliance and monitoring of operation performance
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Have a strong eye for detail
  • Be strong communicator both written and verbally
