Citizens Advice South Hams are seeking an experienced learning and development practitioner to join their growing team. This exciting position will lead L&D across the organisation, embedding systems and equipping all members of the 70+ team with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to fulfil their role. The postholder will assist the Operations Manager in meeting quality assurance standards and will help to build and sustain capacity within the organisation through the professional development of the paid and volunteer workforce.

Using a blended learning approach, and making good use of Citizens Advice materials, the practitioner will recruit, induct, train and develop the workforce, playing a key part in retention. A confident IT user, the successful candidate will establish a learning and development programme to help individuals reach their potential and continuously grow the skills and IT capability within the organisation. The post holder will contribute to the Leadership Self-Assessment and business plan through the production and delivery of the workforce development plan.
