Training Lead Contract: 12-month FTC Location: Bingley, Keighley Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE Working patterns: Flexible - at least two days working on-site An exciting Training Lead 12 month FTC with a leading global manufacturer and supplier of process materials to the composites material manufacturing industry. Operating from facilities globally, the business develops, manufactures and supplies vacuum bagging and process materials for customers within Aerospace, Renewable Energy, Marine and Automotive market segments.

Main Responsibilities of the Training Lead:
  • Design and develop the training programs for the SAP roll out for sites in US, Italy, France, UK
  • Ensure the educational aids and materials as needed are available, work with content developers
  • Connect with internal stakeholders and liaise with various experts regarding instruction and scheduling
  • Select the best training methods or activities for a particular purpose and audience
  • Track and report on the execution
  • Measure instructional effectiveness and generate evaluation reports with the goal of defining the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs
  • Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions for in-house experts/trainers
  • Coordinate with site leaders to reserve training facilities and necessary equipment

Essential requirements for the Training Lead:
  • BS degree in training, HR, education or related field
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally as well as up, down and across the organisation to accomplish objectives.
  • SAP or other ERP project training experience essential
  • Significant work experience as a trainer, training facilitator, or organising multiple training events, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Strong working knowledge of instructional design theory as well as proof of successful implementation
  • Strong knowledge of learning management systems
  • Proven track record, showing the ability to successfully complete the full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
