The Training Coordinator is to provide efficient and effective administration to support the activities of the Training Business Unit. To provide a point of contact for regional training coordinators and external customers regarding enquiries, queries and bookings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Centre
  • Ensure training arrangements are in place for all training courses held at the Wallows Lane facility; joining instructions, refreshments, course documentation and course evaluation.
  • Point of contact for internal and external customers, identifying and developing upsell opportunities where possible.
  • Manage internal and external course bookings for the training centre.
  • Manage the training centre course and hire facility calendar.
  • Training Administration
  • Liaise with 3rd party training providers to book training at external training locations.
  • Ensure training arrangements are in place for all courses held at external training locations and that each delegate is fully notified of all details in advance.
  • Liaise with appropriate management across the company to ensure employees are trained in accordance with the competencies required to fulfill the requirements of their role. Process training charges in the system in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all invoices are accurate and promptly sent for processing and payment.
  • Ensure all external delegates have been charged, and training has been paid for courses booked in advance.
  • Process cancellation charges where necessary and feedback to regional coordinators. Training records/reporting
  • Ensure all training activity is recorded in the appropriate systems and certificates of attendance are produced and issued.
  • Monitor delegate feedback and quarterly report on results of customer survey. CSCS, CPCS and other card schemes
  • Process bookings for all health & safety touchscreen tests for CSCS and CPCS competencies. Apply for all CSCS and CPCS cards
  • Monitor NVQ upgrading process and compliance figure
