Join our Ground Engineering team as a Training Coordinator based in Derbyand shape something special.

Role purpose

Responsible for arranging and administration of training courses in accordance with business needs and identify training from competency matrix.


What you’ll be doing


On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Develop and administer the training management processes and systems
  • Provide support to HSE Lead, Construction Managers, Project Managers, Head of Piling Operations and HR Teams
  • Support the business and management teams to deliver the management and supervisor development plan and assist with the upkeep of COMEAE
  • Capture and maintain records for training and development of individuals from PDRs and individual personal development plans
  • Plan, arrange and administer training course bookings and correspondence with trainees and line managers
  • Plan, arrange and administer periodic, For Cause and random Drugs & Alcohol testing with individuals and line managers
  • Assist and support individuals and line managers with the application and maintenance of Personal Track Safety cards
  • Monitor qualifications held and expiry dates to support individuals to maintain their certification/competencies
  • Maintain the spend on training and development within budget and prepare data for senior management.

Who we’re looking for


To join us in this role, you must have the following:

  • Strong communicator able to communicate confidently with all level of colleagues within the business and external customers
  • Ability to work well under pressure, to tight timescales and deadlines and able to prioritise work activities.
  • Excellent typing skills and IT Skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), BIM360, Sharepoint, Teams
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, discretion and integrity always
  • Proven experience in working within the Construction Industry/Piling and Ground Improvement Techniques
  • Full UK Driving Licence
