We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic individual who would like an opportunity to develop a career in the Fabrication industry, working for an established manufacturer based in Skelmersdale.

This truly is an opportunity for someone with an ambitious attitude who wants to learn a set of skills that can develop into a lifelong career, on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Therefore you must be reliable, hard working, health and safety conscious and have an impeccable attitude towards learning and developing this opportunity into a long term career.

Ideally you will have worked in a Manufacturing, Engineering or Metal or Machine shop environment before, and have genuinely identified a career in Fabrication/Welding as your desired route.

Throughout your time, you will be trained in many areas including:

  • Engineering drawings
  • Measuring and marking out materials
  • Knowledge of engineering materials
  • Handling of engineering information
  • Fitting using hand skills
  • Fabricating
  • Assembly
Progressing through various training modules you will gather experience allowing you to develop through the manufacturing processes becoming a valued member of the team.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am- 2.30pm, Friday 6am-2pm

Pay: £8.91, reviewed after 13 weeks, reviewed ongoing.

Overtime: x1.5 Monday - Friday, x2 Saturday - Sunday.
