This is an ideal opportunity for an individual looking for an entry level position that will see them enter the working environment, potentially for the first time. This role will allow you to gain knowledge, learn new skills and build on your interest in either science or geography topics. What will you be doing?

  • Assessing environmental landfill data, including KPIs and site statistics to determine site performance.
  • Maintaining systems to manage environmental data in accordance with Company procedures, including being aware of software updates and improvements.
  • Assist in providing technical support to the Landfill Operations teams.
  • Occasional participation in environmental monitoring and site based investigation work.
  • Compliance with all Veolia policies and procedures

What are we looking for?

  • Educated to a GCSE or A Level standard or equivalent in a Science/Earth science-based subject.
  • Some experience with handling, analysing and processing data, although not essential.
  • PC literate to be able to assess data to establish performance activity and trends.
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to independently travel to our Norwood site as your location of work.
  • Some knowledge or interest in science, geography and environmental topics.
