TRAINEE SUPPORT WORKER
WE ARE CURRENTLY SOURCING APPLICANTS FOR A HIGHLY RATED SUPPORTED LIVING FACILITY FOR ADULTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES IN BOTLEY.
VERY WELL MANAGED AND PROFESSIONAL LED SITE
DAYS ON PERMANENT HOURS 40 HOURS AVAILABLE (£20k).
CANDIDATES IDEALLY WOULD BE NEW CAREER SEEKERS LOOKING TO MOVE INTO THIS CAREER OR CARE ASSISTANTS LOOKING TO MOVE INTO LEARNING DIFFICULTIES SUPPORT.
MUST BE CAR DRIVERS ALTHOUGH COMPANY VEHICLES WILL BE PROVIDED

Who we are?
We are Care First Recruitment UK, a family run business who work no stop to place the right candidates to the right clients.
This client unit of 8 residents is designed for adults with autism and learning disabilities who have various levels of needs. A purpose-built accommodation that helps people with learning disabilities to live with as much independence and autonomy as possible. Gardens and communal space and good use of local facilities is within this location.
Sympathetically designed both inside and out, great care has been taken to ensure that these spaces incorporate the latest care technology, to give residents even more choice and control in how their support is delivered.
Learning disabilities Support workers are committed to enabling the people they support to live the lives they want; lives which are fulfilling, meaningful and happy. This could be day to day support including medicine, community help like shopping, activities like cinema or working alongside them in the communal areas. Other areas can involve cooking, assisting living which will include personal care and dealing with challenging behaviour (low level) and nonverbal communication.
Activities can also include hydro pool, trampoline, horse riding, swimming, bowling, cookery, arts and crafts, in house beauty and music sessions.

A Learing disabilities Support worker is essential to work every day to help all residents live a dignified and meaningful life. The job requires the highest of standards, bags of passion while always considering the resident’s choices, their views and respecting their independence.
What we are looking for in a Trainee Learning Disabilities Support Worker?
For this role our client is now commencing a commitment to provide full training with opportunities to access NVQ training which can be supported to begin to progress your career as a Learning Disabilities Support Worker.
Being a Learning Disabilities Support Worker can act as a springboard to many different opportunities in the future.
