FULL TIME VARIOUS DAY SHIFTS
36 PERMANENT CONTRACTS AVAILABLE PLUS OVERTIME

Who we are?

What is the job?
A wonderful young man we will call Tom who is needing a team of Therapeutic Support workers to help him thrive in society. Tom loves going out in his car, shopping and activities from his own house.
He loves music, visiting places and mostly is very happy and cheerful.
You will need compassion, be a can-do person with experience supporting people 2-1. You’re good at using your initiative and working well under pressure.
You will need to identify trigers and potential resolutions be able to work 2-1 and able to work when outside comunity withour supervision and trust in your own ability.
Our client will require autism support with communication disabilities.

Therapeutic Support Worker Role

As a Therapeutic Support Worker you are essential to be part of our client’s needs, their daily routine and you will be totally relied on you to maintain their independence.
Gaining their mutual respect and trust, listening and open, supportive and understanding. Able to communicate at all levels and in different ways can make him laugh and be there when he needs support.
Your first day onwards you will be supported to progress and continually take on more responsibility. This could be involved in developing individual care plans.
You are essential to be part of our client’s needs, their daily routine and you will be totally relied on you to maintain their independence.
What we are looking for?
For this role our client is now commencing a commitment to provide training with opportunities to access NVQ training which can be supported to begin to progress your career as a Therapeutic Support Worker (after probation period).

Alice can present challenging patterns when frustrated which is why you will always work alongside another support worker.
Must be able to commute and work in Ferndown.
