About the role


Balfour Beatty Vinci has a brilliant opportunity for a Traffic Safety and Control Officer to join our team to work in Coventry on HS2.

Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Traffic Manager you will have responsibility for the safe implementation of Traffic Management activities.


What you’ll be doing

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Input into traffic management design – layout, CCTV systems, temporary barriers, speed cameras & diversion routes
  • Ensuring temporary traffic regulation orders and road space are in place (SRW)
  • Responsible for regional control centres (RCC)and vehicle management signs (VMS)
  • Assessing work site activities in relation to the traffic management plan
  • Temporary traffic regulation orders
  • Emergency routes planning and distribution

Who we’re looking for
  • Experience working within a Traffic Management or TSCO capacity on a large scale construction, civils or infrastructure project
  • CSCS Card
